Santa Barbara Craftsman: Offset Postcard

This piece was created for a Print Production class project at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. Our group worked with two specific Pantone colors (Pantone 2067 U and Pantone Green 0921 U) to create a set of postcards that were ultimately printed in two-color offset lithography process at Bolger in Minneapolis. Those colors were specially chosen, as the actual printed color differs significantly from the image reproduced digitally below!

The design is created from a variety of shapes, and incorporates the use of different blending modes to layer in the shadows. It is inspired by the many beautiful beachfront Craftsman homes located in southern California. Completed in November 2019.
